Nancy Heslin
Nancy Heslin hosts Monaco Info The Podcast. She is founder and publishing director of Monaco’s first 100% women-owned book publishing house, Carob Tree Publishing, and launched her first book 100 Years of Women: Motorsport & Monaco in January 2025 in the presence of Prince Albert. The gifted moderator is the Editor in Chief of The Monegasque magazine and founder of the not-for-profit Good News, Monaco. With her husband she cohosts Nancy & PJ Finally Get Together, a podcast reaching listeners in 139 countries.
PJ Heslin
PJ Heslin started his career as a standup comedian in Toronto in the Nineties. This led him to New York with a role on Sex and the City before a move to Los Angeles, where he worked the red carpet for HBO interviewing celebs from Tom Hanks to Mick Jagger. Meanwhile he worked at LA’s comedy and music club, Largo, which is how he ended up once in a Lincoln town car with Matthew McConaughey. The avid cyclist eventually switched to IT and then education. With his wife, the podcaster cohosts Nancy & PJ Finally Get Together, a podcast reaching listeners in 139 countries.
OUR STORY
Nancy & PJ Finally Get Together is a spinoff of their manuscript You, Me & France, which starts with a meet-cute when 21-year-old Nancy and PJ, 25, first set eyes on each other at a French immersion program in Canada in 1990.
Their love story shares the drama of their frequent break-ups and rollicking reunions across their twenties and thirties as restless Nancy hopscotches across Canada and France, while PJ moves to New York and LA to pursue acting and comedy.
After ten years of a boomerang relationship, Nancy tells PJ she is getting married, hoping he will sweep her off her feet, romcom style. Instead, he weds another three months later in Las Vegas.
Both now uneasily married, the couple continue to carry a torch for each other, but it would be another decade before the star-crossed lovers reunite. When they do in 2010, in the South of France, they realise they have two very different versions of how they remember their relationship.
Fortunately, they could dust off Nancy’s journals of 20 years to prove who was right – and quite frankly sometimes, they were both wrong! They decided to write their lived-experience and off-the-scale love story of tension, trauma and travels – long before social media or mobile phones – in a fast-paced and engagingly quirky dual narrative.
This inspired Nancy & PJ Finally Get Together, a relatable and meaningful podcast on love, relationships and the two lives in between.
